How does Class Localized Cryotherapy Work?
Localized Cryotherapy is the application of cryogenically cooled air to specific parts of the body. A localized cryotherapy session uses a small handheld device to apply the nitrogen gas to a specific target area such as the neck, elbow, knee, ankle, etc. The session only takes minutes to complete and leaves you with benefits that far exceed what traditional icing can provide.
During a 2-3 minute session at -260°F, the blood circulation is stimulated and is forced toward the core, where the body’s natural filtration system works to remove toxins and inflammatory properties from the blood.
Over the next 48 hours, the process of restoration occurs and the body returns to an improved state with reduced tissue damage, decreased inflammation, and relieving pain by increasing cellular survival and strengthening the immune system as well as increased energy levels.
