Dr. Jessica Lynn Horowitz:
Dr. Horowitz graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Clinical Psychology and went on to obtain her Doctorate in Chiropractic. She graduated from the prestigious Life University in Marietta, Ga. Her passion for dance led her to a career in healing the body and ensuring its optimal performance. While attending graduate school, Dr. Horowitz spent two years as a cheerleader for the Atlanta Falcons. It was during this time that she evaluated and cared for her fellow teammates and realized she would focus her career on injury prevention and athletic longevity. She has training in biomechanics, pain management and TMJ dysfunction. Her philosophy is to focus on the whole body, understanding that the body functions as a unit and a problem in one area like weak or strained muscles or stiff joints can affect other areas of the body over time. Dr. Horowitz has worked with patients of all ages and problems, including babies and toddlers with structural issues from the traumatic birthing process to geriatric patients with difficulty walking due to pain and weakness. Dr. Horowitz believes that staying healthy is hard work and with the help and guidance from everyone at Velocity Chiropractic and Sports Rehabilitation optimal health can be achieved.
